Phil & Ted metoo chair: Let's baby sit at the table, even on the go
Going out to eat can sometimes be a challenge. Not every restaurant or person you visit has a highchair. Even when the restaurant has one, sometimes the highchair is being used, is filthy, broken or not safe to use (such as when I visited Schnack in Red Hook, Brooklyn and was told by the waiter, "we have a high chair but I wouldn’t put my kid in it!"). That’s when a portable seat like the Phil & Ted metoo chair comes in handy.
The metoo chair is a portable high-chair made of aluminum and nylon that attaches onto most tables. Unlike other "sassy seats," it folds compactly (2" thick), is lightweight (2 lbs) and is easy and secure to attach (using C-clamps). It can hold a child up to 40 lbs (about 3 years old). We use it at my dad’s because he doesn’t have room for a full-size highchair. Anya loves sitting at the table with us.
As with other seats that attach to the table, the surface can’t be glass or soft wood and an extra thick tabletop won’t allow you to attach it. Also, you have to make sure the table can
