She is a black woman, she is a Black-Cuban-American. wow, labels in America…it’ll never end. either way, she’s a wonderful actress and I agree w/ others that she is underrated. I don’t think PBB was implying that she is “Hispanic” when he/she made the hot-tamale statement..yes it’s a little corny and taboo to use that term for us, but nowhere in their post did it show they were implying such. On another note, I love Gina Torres! I’m an Afro-Latina and i’ve been told many times that I look like her just way lighter. I’ve gotten Rosario Dawson as well. I look like myself to me but I do take those as compliments! They are beautiful black latina women! That is all.

PSB, Gina Torres is Afro-Cuban, which means she is African American, but from Cuba. I don’t know what you mean by “hot tamale” but I’m assuming you thought she was hispanic. Not so.
