Cubs outfielder Alfonso Soriano welcomes fourth child

S1119122aChicago Cubs outfielder Alfonso Soriano couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the year 2007 than the birth of his son, Angel.  The 30-year-old’s wife, Angelica, gave birth on Wednesday, Jan. 3 to the couple’s fourth child.
The couple also have two daughters, Alisis and Angeline, and a son, Alfonso Jr.

wow, thats alot of A’s.

I guess David Boreanaz made the name popular for boys. I myself love it for a boy.

After hearing a guy named Angel for 3 seasons of Buffy, and 5 of Angel, it just seems weird for a girl. But hey, that may just be me.

Angel’s a pretty popular name among Hispanic parents, especially for boys! (At least among the kids I know through nannying.)

I’ve seen plenty of people with that name. Both spellings, regular and Spanish with the accent over the A. Besides, they’re not pronounced the same way. I like the name, both spellings/pronunciations.
