All My Children star Sydney Penny expecting first child

All My Children‘s Sydney Penny, 35, (Julia) and her husband Robert Powers are expecting their first child in early June. The couple have been married for 11 years.

The show has not yet made a decision on whether they will write the pregnancy into the show, but Sydney believes they probably will. She says, "I have a feeling that they’re going to write my pregnancy in…I’m hesitant to definitely say yes or no until I actually see it in a script. That certainly would make it easier for me, because it’s so hard to cover it up if you’re not going to play the pregnancy. You know, you’re carrying luggage and hiding behind furniture."

that is cool! I have been watching amc lately and i have noticed suspicious screen behavior of her character. I thought they could be hiding a pregnant belly on there!

I was watching AMC today and when she turned to kiss Jamie I thought to myself, “either she’s got a bit of a gut on her or she’s pregnant!”
