Westlife's Nicky Byrne expecting first children

Update: It’s twins! Nicky announced the news on Dutch talk show Jensen on Tuesday, and was quite surprised that the audience didn’t already know! He said he and Georgina do not know the sexes.

Originally posted November 5th: Westlife member Nicky Byrne, 28, and his wife of two years, Georgina Byrne, 27, have announced they are expecting their first child, due next summer. Georgina is the first born daughter of Irish Prime Minister, Bertie Ahern. It will be the first child for both.

This will make the fourth Westlife baby.  Shane Filan and his wife Gillian, celebrated their daughter Nicole’s first  in July.  Brian McFadden has two daughters, Molly and Lilly-Sue with ex-wife Kerry Katona.

Jesus, is there something in the water. Or does there seem like more twins been conceived/born than normal.

it seems like everyone is having twins! A girl I grew up with just found out she’s having twins too. I wonder if there really is something to that theory that because of all the hormones in our food, multiple births are becoming more common.

I’m so pleased for them both :] those kiddies are going to be so gorgeous – just like their parents!
I read an article from Nicky at the weekend & he said that he hopes to maybe take the kiddies on stage with him during the bands 2008 tour – just like Brian McFadden did with Molly & Lily whilst he was in the band – & like Shane Filan did during the Summer when it was his daughter Nicole’s birthday! I was there that day – she’s such a little cutie :]

congratulations nicky and georgina you guys are so lucky that you are having twins i wish you both all the best for the new year i hope it will be a geart one the only tning i can say to you nicky is double trouble but im sure it will be great having two beautiful lads.i also want to say that you and kian are my favourit members of the band but i love all of you lads you guys are amazing on stage and you guys take my breath away keep up the good work i will be seeing you guys on the 8 march 2007 in south africa can,t wait!!!! it,s been my dream to see you guys.
