Jolie-Pitt Family goes Christmas shopping

by auditioning contributor Jacqueline

Leesartshop_1Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and kids Zahara and Maddox are in New York City for her The Good Shepherd press junket, but made time for a little holiday shopping at Lee’s Art Shop in midtown Manhattan.

Lee’s bills itself as “The Art Store of the Stars” and has recently opened an in-store toy store with merchandise described as, "the most creative toys for the gifted youngster. Find a full supply of creative and educational toys and puzzles that stimulate children mentally and physically. You’ll help your child develop an interest in color and design. Help children see the world in a different light in this exciting and stimulating environment for the whole family.”  (Looks like Maddox won’t be getting a Gameboy in his stocking anytime soon!)

Danielle adds: Lee’s is a really cool store.  They used to be more art supply- focused by since renovating and expanding a few years ago, they have tons of crafts and toys and gift items for adults.  It’s one of those stores that you can lose an hour or two in.

How CUTE! Zahara is quite bowlegged! I just noticed that. This is the first time I haven’t seen her riding a hip.

I am really happy that Brad Pitt has a family. Everytime you see him he is so involved with the children. I wish Shiloh was along too! I would have liked to see what they ended up purchasing. : )

ally, that’s the first thing I noticed when I saw those photos! Glad I wasn’t the only one seeing that. Very cute photos.

I missed her bowlegged stance at first glance from the week prior. But she sure is. It just adds to her character, I think. Doesn’t take away at all. My -great-grandmother was bowlegged exactly like that, hehe. I think it added to her swagger-like walk. She walked with a purpose each and every step. :)

so when angelina gets another kid, will he or she have their own nanny or will they just share shiloh’s? sorry, but it bothers me when celebs offload their children onto nannies then want MORE. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR CHILDREN, ANGELINA! dammit…..

ang, I am not sure why you seem so angry, but your anger appears misplaced. Angelina Jolie is one of the most hands on mothers in Hollywood. I cant think of another celeb who is more hands on and who doesnt have help at times. Nothing wrong in it at all. And it certainly does not imply she shouldnt add to her family just because she might need some help on occasion.

I really dont get the animosity and hypocritical remarks by some towards this family. Heck, even Jennifer Garner has a nannie and she only has one child.. I guess she shouldnt have any more then.

My kids go to day care
3 times a week, does that mean I shouldnt have another baby?

Please.

Love this family.. Maddox is already so smart and can read and write at only five! wow, what great parents to seek out toys that stimulate the mind.

BTW, Z was a very sick baby when Angie adopted her and she is doing so well now, I commend Angie and Brad for that. Her bowlegs might be do to rickets, but probably will straighten up by the time she is three.

Yep, baby Z is Very bowlegged and my first thought was possibly rickets. Personally, I am a bit biased about bowled legs. My first love was VERY bowlegged and I thought it was UNBELIEVABLY sexy… I’m not kidding I totally obsessed over this guys legs!! Gracious, I’m getting all red and smiling just thinking about him again and that was 24 years ago! Looking at these children with their parents in this store makes me think “wow, how blessed are they to have parents that really get excited about toy shops and such”. You rock on baby Z and your precious little legs!
