As much as i like Gwen, but the baby suffers a bit of over exposure.
On one hand i love the fact that she doesn’t leave the baby in the care of a nanny.
On the other hand this boy didn’t ask to be famous, but he is in every magazine.

I am not trying to be negative about Gwen, because she has proved to be a loving mother. But do other people on this site sometimes wonder to if this (very quite!) baby should be protected a little bit more from all the media attention.

I am not talking about her being seen with him in her private life, but also him beeing seen at fashion shows etc.

Sorry, just wondering.

I don’t think so. there is no harm being done to the baby, all they’re doing is taking his picture. he has no awareness of his presence in the media so it affects him in no way. all that matters is she is a good mother. if she was leaving him home people would be complaining about that. give her a break!

I have to say I don’t agree,

I think it is refreshing that Gwen is learning to ignore the cameras and get on with her life as normal. The real argument should be whether the Papparazi should be taking these pics. It is refreshing, especially in Hollywood where it is all too wasy for mothers to just dump there kids on Nannnys and leave them at home, that Gwen is taking her Son to work with her.

Gwen is also very busy working on the new album and is nursing, so naturally she has to take Kingston with her to studios, appearances etc.

I admire Gwen. She can do it all! I love how Kingston is always with his Mommy.

I agree with the first post. The baby however is the cutest thing. I admire those celebrities who can keep a balance between exposure and privacy.

Kingston is so cute. Gwen seems like a really hands on mom, and she dresses him adorable.

I totally agree with you Kim! I was starting to wonder if I was the only person in the world who thought that we see a little too much of “King”. Trips to Starbucks, dining at the Ivy, getting out of limos, perfume launches, studio sessions, award shows, moonwalks, etc. makes me wonder when he gets to have his own quiet time (or just a day off!)

I don’t have children, and I can certainly understand a new mother being proud of her child, but as Kim stated, he didn’t ask to be a star! Without sounding mean, I suspect that some celebrities feel pressure to prove that they are great mothers despite their whirlwind careers, and she may just be overcompensating – which, of course, she has every right to do…

I think that by allowing photographers to photograph Kingston, Gwen is taking away the “chase” of the search by photographers for the illusive, always covered up, celebrity child, which brings about more of a frenzy. Since she’s open with his pictures, there is no frenzy over seeing him for the first time or rushing to get his photo.
