12/12/2006 at 01:08 PM ET

Fashion designer and daughter of Beatle Paul has given birth to her own little girl. Stella McCartney, 34, and her husband Alasdhair Willis welcomed their second child on Friday, December 8th in London.

Bailey Linda Olwyn weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz, and joins big brother Miller, 21 months. Her first middle name is in honor of Stella’s beloved mother Linda, who passed away from breast cancer 8 years ago. Bailey is the fourth grandchild and first granddaughter for Sir Paul.

Congrats to them both. Wow I never knew Stella’s husband was so hot, they look good together. I hope we can see pictures of their new addition, I’m sure she’ll be adorable.

What a beautiful tribute to Linda McCartney!

Cute name, but her initials are BLOW? Come on! They should have seen that.

OMG Noelle you’re right..lol I didn’t even notice that.. Awe that poor girl is going to get teased..

O My God I’m so happy!!!!!! Congrats Stella. I’m happy because it’s a girl, I’m happy because she has Linda in her name, I’m happy for Sir Paul, who needs these beautiful moments in his life now…I’m happy because a child has been born and I’m certain she’s gorgeous! UAU! It’s the first grandaughter for Paul. He has 3 grandsons: Arthur (7), Elliot (4) and Miller (21 months). I love the name! You think she’s gona be teased because you’re mean, and other kids are mean, and we don’t need to have a different name to be teased…and I have first had experience, believe me. I have a regular name, and I was teased a lot for other reasons, and I tell you that I’d prefer to have been teased for having a different name. Kids always make up something to tease about, if not the name, the clothes, the nose, the mouth, your head, anything… And I’m sure that she’s not gonna be called by BLOW!!!! So…anyway I’m gonna shut up because I’m so happy LOL!!!!
Love this family!

Stella turned 34 in September – she not 37!!!

Just hazarding a guess, Stella and her husband may be paying tribute to Isabella Blow, fashion editor for Harper’s Bazaar. That, or it’s pure coincidence!

congratz Stella and hubby!
That is kinda funny that the initals are BLOW.

i think anyone who is saying something about the “blow” thing is mean, the baby’s name is after stella’s mother who passed away, who cares what her name spells! stella probly misses her mom so much and wished she could be their for the birth of her second child, have a heart people!!!!!!!

YAY! I’m so happy for Stella!!! I’ve sure been waiting a long time for this. I love the name! I love how she included her mother Linda in there. Just what we’d expect from her. What a lovely tribute. Well now Paul has his first granddaughter! He must be so ecstatic! May this child bring much joy and love to Paul after all he’s been through this year. Congratulations Stella, Alasdhair, Grandpa Paul, and the whole McCartney family!!!! I can’t wait to see this precious little girl!

And how ironic that Miller was born on George’s b-day and Bailey on the day John died. Too wired! Ya don’t see that very often!

um. what did she eat while pregnant. Lol. She might have took extra pills since she doesn’t eat meat! Do you ever wonder why Pam Anderson is sooooooo skinny? hmmm- i wonder if being a vegetarian is a great weight loss diet. i outa try it! Congrats on the baby! i dont like the name Bailey though!

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
