He isalways seen in some of the most stylish baby clothes on the market, many of which are designed by his own mom. Kingston, at six months old, already has an electric guitar and a $6,200 gold bracelet, not thathe’s even aware of them!

#5~ Leni Klum, the daughter of supermodel Heidi Klum and rocker Seal,is constantly with her parents attending major Hollywood events andgoing to the some of the most popular hotspots. Being the very first priority inhis parents life, along with his two sisters, Mad never wants foranything. He has a motorbike, an ATV, and visits some of the mostinteresting museums, zoos and events. He is also a young fashion icon, usually sporting a mohawk, screen tees and cargos pants.

#2~ Barron Trump, the youngest son of real estate mogul Donald Trump and his third wife Melania,is already guaranteed a lucrative job with his father and, at8-months-old, has his own floor in his parents $100 million triplex.

And number one is (drumroll please) … Miss Lourdes Leon, daughter of pop icon Madonna and her ex Carlos Leon, and stepdaughter to film director guy Ritchie, has a wardrobe to rivalHollywood’s biggest clothes hounds and even has her own stylist. Shealso reportedly has a credit card with a $10,000 limit.

The thing I love about these parents is that these kids aren’t justgiven the lap of luxury and then pushed aside by their parents, as inthe "Mommy Dearest" superstition of Hollywood parents. These parentsabsolutely adore their children, who are evidently the lights of theirlives, and only want to provide them with the absolute best, in manycases because they themselves come from meager backgrounds. I just lovethat!

Actually, the luckiest kids in the world are those with a Father and a Mother, who are married, and whose mother stays home with them.

- Ysenia on

Baby blog, I really love your website; however, ive always been puzzled by the design at the top of the page. What exactly do palm trees have to do with babies? You have enough notoriety now, maybe shell out a few bucks for a cute web design?

- Ysenia on

These children have all that money can buy..but this article didn’t once mention LOVE of a parent. Or is that not important in the “Fabulous” world of celebrities.

- Kristie on

Hmmm… I’m waiting to see who the “luckiest” is after they’ve had to filter through all of the bad stuff that goes along with being the children of wealthy, beautiful parents. A $6000 bracelet? $10000 spending limit on a credit card? I worry about what kind of a pattern these parents are making…

- Austin on

Lucky? Their definition of lucky is different than mine. Lucky is having a roof over your head, clothes on your back, food in your stomach, and being surrounded by people who love and care about you. These kids are spoiled. There is nothing wrong with spoiling your kids (to a point), heck I do it to my daughter every chance I get, but a credit card for a 10 year old (regardless of the spending limit) is ridiculous! I get that they may be trying to over compensate for their own childhoods, but come on these extravagant gifts are totally out of control and inappropriate (IMO). We all want what the best for our kids regardless of how much money we have, but sometimes….less reall is more!

I find it interesting that the children of celebs like Reese Witherspoon and Kate Winslet, who are arguably two of the most devoted mothers in Hollywood, never make any of these “Luckiest Celebrity Kids” lists, shows, etc. Why is that, exactly? Is it because their parents choose not to spoil them rotton by buying them thousands of dollars worth of jewelry before the age of one and choose not to give them credit cards before the age of ten?
Just to be clear, I have absolutely no problem with people buying luxurious items such as cars, clothes, jewelry, etc.; if a family can afford and wants a Bugaboo, I say go for it. But there is a point where it becomes too much, and more often than not, celeb parents cross it.

- Lauren on

Not to be snotty, but a child that age [even one with super rich parents] does
not need a credit card. Providing these kids “the absolute best” may actually backfire, because then the kids grow up thinking that’s how life will always be. Those celebs should take a page from Ron Howard’s parents; they made Ron and his siblings do chores, earn an allowance,
and save their money. Even Paul McCartney put his foot down and told Stella he wasn’t buying her a fancy car when she was a teenager.

The luckiest kids in the world are the ones whose parents read to them, tell them “I love you” often and teach them the value of hard work.

Brooklyn does not have a $100,000 toy Ferrari or a $400,000 lighting system in his bedroom…….

- Posh_Fan on

Because of my husbands work we spend each year a few months travelling with two young children. I think my kids are lucky to do that, but if you’d ask them… My four year old really really prefers to stay at home, where he has his own friends and his own toys and his own backyard and preschool. Travelling for young kids is tiring, they have to adjust to new people and surroundings all the time and they often feel disorientated. Most young children prefer things to be simple and safe i think.. We think these kids are lucky, but they have to put a lot of energy into adapting to new situations all the time and may not get a lot of opportunities to build lasting relationships with other children and people if they’re on the road a lot. Well that’s what I worry about when dealing with my (otherwise probably very lucky) children.Just a thought when reading about all these jetsetting celebrity kids

- Vibeke on

This doesn’t sound like luck at all. A whole lot of waste. Rather hard to read actually, when so many don’t even get enough to sustain life.

- Shmoo on

Lucky?..maybe
Spoiled?..definitely.

- katie on

I would think that the luckiest kid would be Zahara because she nearly died and would have if she had not been adopted. It really shocks me they would pick the luckiest children based on material posessions.

- Vanessa on

did anybody else notice that it is only the oldest of there children it is none of the second or third child

- Brittany on

I’m speechless. Lucky? Every last one of these kids is being set up to be a jaded, unhappy, bored, unlikable, adult. Kids who are handed everything never to learn to strive for or achieve anything. They don’t know how to be happy because they have nothing to look forward to and nothing is ever “enough”. THIS IS WHY SO MANY RICH KIDS END UP ON DRUGS. Kids who travel all the time with no permanent “home base” grow up feeling insecure and rootless.

A lucky child is one who has two loving parents living under one roof; a safe, secure and warm place to call home, a loving extended family, a bed to sleep in, a decent family income (one that is “enough”), and parents who provide, not just hugs and kisses, but also set loving limits, wisdom and guidance.

Whoever wrote this article should know better. I’m disgusted.

well said Donna

I think that the REALLY lucky kids are really Zahara Jolie-Pitt, Meg Ryan’s daughter Daisy and Madonna’s son David, since they were all rescued from third-world countries.

- editorjax on

This article makes me sick! I don’t usually respond to things I read here but I have to agree with many of you that living in the lap of luxury is NOT luck.
Secondly, it disgusts me that ANYONE would spend so excessively on things their children are probably never going to appreciate fully while millions of people the world over are starving to death each day. While more child soldiers are being recruited for war and more children are being sold into prostitution, these parents are amassing wealth and spending so selfishly.
While I agree with editorjax that certain are lucky to have been adopted, it worries me that many people have such a skewed view of third world countries. Sure, things aren’t as rosy in many places as they are in the US–the majority of the people may not be as wealthy as those in developed countries. But, third world countries offer much in the way of appreciation of the smaller things in life, tradition, emphasis on respecting elders, etc. that developed countries often do not. There are plenty of children who’ve been adopted and live in third world countries who are doing great!

- Karen on

Preach it Donna!!!!! My thoughts exactly!

- Campbell on

MAKEUP?!?!? For a 2-year old?!?!?

- Brynna on

just because some journalist thinks all these things are “providing them with the best” doesn’t make it so. Lourdes has stylist??? Give me a break!!! I LOVE spoiling my kids with a once in awhile splurge like a new video gam for my son or an Abercrombie jacket for my 17 yr old daughter. But a credit card with a $10,000 limit??? I am stunned. Do they think you can make up for time spent away with lavish gifts?? At least I see San Sheen actually with her mother most of the time unlike Madonna and Lourdes. I think I have seen a total of 4 pics this year of the two of them together. I don’t know, I just remember taking my kids with me everywhere and always being there for them. What kids remember about growing up are the little things like fishing with dad or making cookies with mom. Not the $10,000 credit card they had as a 10 year old or the latest Dolce & Gabbana outfit they had.

- tink1217 on

I couldn’t imagine buying these things for my son, even if I had the money, what’s the point? How would this teach him anything or help him to grow in anyway? “I don’t have to be nice, my Mommy will buy me anything I want just for being her son. I don’t have to do well in school, my Mommy’s rich. I don’t have to do anything that I don’t want”. Yeah, I’d just be expecting those words to come out of my son’s mouth then what? Cut him off cold turkey? Yeah, then the backlash, then back to the tabloids on my out of control child. I think this article is ridiculous and disgusting. I wouldn’t want some of this junk as an adult, less known a child, and my values are already in place. Hey, my kid is singing, banging a wooden spoon on a door knob, and hopping around in his $15.88 Thomas the Tank Engine boots which he refuses to take off. And I’m enjoying every second of it. I think he’s just about the luckiest kid in the world.

Okay wait, he was just licking a plastic key. It’s time to hire a Nanny. I can’t possibly keep my eye on this kid.
