Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck (and her nanny) had a nice lunch at Amici Restaurant in Brentwood, CA. Daddy Ben Affleck was not with them. Violet turned 1 yesterday!

I saw Ben on the Ellen DeGeneres show on Nov 29th. She asked what they had planned for Violet’s 1st birthday & he said just a quiet day at home, and that he was taking Jen out for a nice dinner.

Violet weighed only 6 pounds and 10oz when she was born.
These don’t look like Party Pictures. I’m sure Violet had a real party with Mommy, Daddy, Family and Friends later that day. Ben said they were going to do the Cupcake and Candle Pictures for Violet’s Birthday.
These pictures looks like Jen had lunch with some friends and brought Violet along.

Yeah I agree with Molly. These picks looked like Jen had a lunch date with some of her female friends, whichy happened to also be on Violet’s birthday.
Most likely Ben, Jen, their family and friends threw Violet a more traditional first birthday party later that evening, like most people do with their kids’ birthdays. (Or at least what my family has done in the past.)
For most of you mothers of kids 1+, did your spouse spend the entire day with you and your children on their first birthdays, or did you both conviene later in the evening (after work) for the party?

I just have to say I think Jen is such a cute mommy. She always look’s so natural. She doesn’t have her hair perfect and gobbs of makeup on in every picture. She just look’s so down to earth. I am glad there is a Hollywood mom who Dosen’t think about perfection all the time and just look’s like a women who is real busy with her kid (S). They are both addorable!
