RUMOR: Is Naomi Campbell desperate for a family?

11/26/2006 at 06:29 PM ET

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is rumored to have reached a breaking point in her life, because she is desperate for a family. Her temper has reportedly kept her from keeping a decent man in her life and the 36-year-old fears that her ticking biological clock may have come too late in life.

"She is beginning to realize that her biological clock is ticking." A source told Britain’s Grazia magazine. "Naomi has always had a reputation of being demanding but there are many reasons why she’s struggled to settle down. When she became famous, she was allowed to behave like a needy child and had people like Gianni Versace protecting her. Getting older means she has to deal with her issues."

Hiish, she wasn’t going out with Flavio Briatore? If yes, I really think she could search a better person to start a family!!!

Naomi has too many violent personality issues to deal with first, before she introduces a child into her life! As long as she’s throwing temper tantrums and punches at her servants, I think she should remain single and motherless. She needs to lose some of that “selfish attitude,” or she’ll be alone forever! Babies are SO dependent on their parents for love and nuturing, so if she’s having issues with adults….she won’t be able to handle a whingy whiny baby!!!

That makes me nervous, with her anger management issues a child is not the first thing she should be going after. They are the most wonderful thing in life, yes, but a lot of work and require unlimited levels of patience and structure.

Yikes. I personally wouldn’t want her for a mother! I don’t want phones thrown at me. She is far to immature.

i’m agreeing with all of you. she’s too wicked to be a mother. let’s see if she can handled a husband first. she needs anger management classes.

she’d probably be a decent mom if she could get her act together. I wish her well but she definately needs to get her affairs in order before bringing children into the world or caring for one.

Couldn’t EVEN begin to say if she would be a “good” mother or not…. All I have ever seen about this lady in the news is negative. Don’t know if that is fair press or not….. IF she wants a family and “hopefully” is ready then best to her…. I just don’t know enough either way… kinda makes me a bit nervous too, but then again who am I to say when and/or if she should become a mom. *shakes**shakes*

I always thought Naomi Campbell would have “grown” out of this diva stage she’s been in past 20 years, but it doesn’t seem like she has and sad to say, ever will. All of her contemporaries have moved on, become mothers and several have become very sucessful business women. I understand that she’s desperate for a child, but she needs anger management ASAP. She can only fault herself for her situation.

Mom Said It

"It helps that other moms had said that once they had their babies, they forgot they were ever pregnant. So once my focus became the baby and not the pregnancy, it was a very easy decision."
