Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt visit Vietnamese orphanage

JoliepitIt has already been rumored that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might adopt from Cambodia. Well, just as they did in India, they have now visited an orphanage in Vietnam. We don’t think this is because they want to adopt another child; they visited the orphanage in India and left with no child. They apparently visited on Thanksgiving to give out gifts and candy to the children. Their children Maddox, 5, Zahara, 22 months and Shiloh, almost 6 months, did not go with them.

These rumors will always follow Ang whenever she goes to a foreign country. She DID state in an interview a few years back that she is basically prepared to adopt anytime she visits a foreign country so it makes sense to wonder now…
She is looking scary thin in the last few pics I’ve seen of her…. hope all is well.

I think it’s great that they adopt, but it almost seems like they go on shopping trips for children … “while in India they visited an orphanage” … like they]re shopping around for a kid. Don’t like the way it’s worded in reports.

I still find it so weird that they NEVER have Shiloh with them. What is up with that?

um, orphanages aren’t like shops for adoption. no one can just “stop by” and suddenly decide to adopt a child on the spot. Jolie for sure knows this. she’s involved with child welfare/refugee work and visits as part of that work and her interest as an adoptive parent.

I dont think she looks scary thin at all.. she did lose a little weight for the movie but.. I think she looks beautiful in this pic with Brad. Gorgeous!

She often visits orphanages when she travels abroad, giving out toys and clothes and other needed things. I admire that about her. She and Brad both have such good hearts and genuinely love all children.

She was joking when she said people around her got nervous when she visited an orphanage. I can understand because it must be hard to see so many children who need homes and love. But you can’t just go to an orphanage and pick out a child and say I will take that one..(wouldnt that be good though, for the child I mean) it takes many months and going through legal processes..which she did with Maddox and then with Zahara.

International adoption relations between Cambodia and US Citizens are currently suspended – meaning that it is impossible for any US citizen to adopt from Cambodia right now. Just an “fyi” from a mom who has adopted internationally and is exploring to do so again in the (hopefully) not so distant future.

I do think it’s crazy, if not sad, how these rumors plague Angelina everytime she turns around now. Now wonder she just “goes for it” when she does… with the media hounding her like they do on every turn!!

I agree Diana she does look “scary” thin. She has been taking on the skeleton look over the past few months and recently you have been able to see most of her joints clearly and some of her major veins. Hopefully she is just in that major weight drop after having a baby. I had this drop after all three of my kids around 6-9 months of age. I would drop to around 110 and then slowly go back up to a normal weight. I didn’t eat different or anything to cause this. I have a couple of other friends that have gone through this same thing with their kids with no diet change. Hopefully she is healthy.

Am I the only one who is disturbed by the fact that neither of them are wearing helmets? Come on! You have 3 children under 5!! I’d like to tell them the same thing I tell my husband when he gets the urge to ride his Harley sans helmet: you don’t look ‘cool’, you look stupid.
