i mean this in the most non-inflammatory, non-insulting way… In the first picture, Princess Aiko recalls Violet Beauregard turning into a blueberry at Willy Wonka’s factory. I completely understand and respect that it’s a traditional outfit, but I just had to say it (in jest). It’s the hairstyle, too.

What a beautiful looking child and what proud and loving parents. Given what must be the constructions of Japanese royal life, they look like a very happy family.
