Will Ferrell always has his son on his mind

11/15/2006 at 09:00 AM ET

In an interview with OK magazine called "Inside Will Ferrell’s Head," funnyman Will couldn’t help but mention his 2 1/2-year-old son, Magnus and the craziness that comes with parenthood. Will and wife Viveca Paulin are expecting their second son together on December 29th.

"I swear my son already thinks I’m crazy," the Stranger Than Fiction star says, "He says, ‘Papa’s crazy.’ He’s always seeing me in wigs and costumes. We’re already trying to figure out what ig going on his head, and how much we’ve already messed him up already."

Will says he looks forward to his son (and future baby) getting bigger and being able to do more.

"No one tells you how much attention these little children need," he joked. "They can’t do anything for themselves. They can’t clean, they can’t make money for you. They just sit around and break stuff. I’m wating for it to get better."

However, fatherhood seems to fit the comedy star.

"I love fatherhood. It’s great fun and very rewarding, I think I’m really going to encourage them to try to learn how to read and to have certain skills, " he says before adding, "And I’m going to try to remember their names in public."

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
