Teen daughter of country star Billy Ray Cyrus tops pop charts

Your kids may know her as Disney’s Hannah Montana, but to her parents, she is just plain ole Miley Cyrus, daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, the crooner behind the mega country hit, "Achy Breaky Heart." This past week, 13-year-old Miley declared herself a star by topping the U.S. Billboard pop charts with the soundtrack to her hit show.

Her album sold more than 280 thousand copies, making it the highest selling first week for a soundtrack since last November. It also holds the spot as the fourth top ten for Disney this year.

My daughter and I watch Hannah Montana all the time, I love the show. Both Billy Ray and Miley are so cute.

Aw, my 4 year old daughter loves Miley aka Hannah Montana! I’m glad for her success. I hope she stays down to earth and cute and a positive image for young girls. Can’t wait to see her at the Disney concert next Saturday!

Yay! for Miley she’s great, but she & Billy Ray also looked awesome when they presented an award at the CMAs Monday night, which ya’ll didn’t mention. There is a lot out there about country stars and they’re children that ya’ll don’t post about.

They used to be my neighbors before I left Tennessee. Miley has grown up so much. She, Billy Ray and family are so down-to-earth…I hope they all stay that way. I’m proud of Miley’s success and think she’s talented and a good role model…I wish her much success. Stay the way you are, Miley…you’re adorable!
