TV Alert: Britney Spears & Will Ferrell on David Letterman tonight

CBB reader Jenn emails to say that Britney Spears will be making a ‘surprise’ appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight. The scheduled guests are Will Ferrell, who is promoting his film Stranger than Fiction, and animal handler Jack Hanna, but apparently Britney snuck in for a visit.

The show taped this afternoon – and Jenn, even though she confessed that she’s "not usually a fan," said that Britney looked great – short blonde hair and a black dress, looking quite thin.  Of course we’re hoping she’ll talk about Sean, 13 months, and Jayden, 7 weeks, but we doubt it.

In fact, we hear that Britney walks out after the monologue, gushing "I’m such a big fan!"  When David says, "Thank you so much," Britney says, "No, not of you, I’m a big fan of Will Ferrell’s."  Then she walked off stage.

Her last appearance on the show was when she announced her pregnancy with Jayden.

We’ll have the Will Ferrell baby related highlights shortly after the show – he and his wife are expecting their second child next month.

I’ve just watched the footage and I was shocked at how gaunt she looks. Being a new Mum, looking after a toddler and losing weight rapidly have definitely taken their toll on her face. Sure her legs look hot, but her face has lost it’s youthfulness I think.

She looks different. She have lost her baby weight, but she doesn’t look the same. I don’t know. Britney is not like a popstar anymore. Even though she decides to continue her singing carrier, she won’t be that famous.(Don’t ask why? ) I think that she is too small for the family thing.
