Jennifer Garner and Violet out shopping

Jennifer Garner was spotted out shopping with daughter Violet, 11 months, in LA this week. Looking every bit the normal mom, Jen juggled Violet, a diaper bag, and a phone call, before loading everything into her shopping cart!

Violet celebrates her first  on December 1st – be sure to check out her Celebrating Celebrity Baby s post on the day.

Product rundown: Violet is sitting in a Buggy Bag ($60).  We also like Cuter Than a Duck’s Butt shopping cart/highchair covers ($66-93).

Untitled_1 Our correspondent Estelle has identified a few items in the pictures – Violet is wearing Splendid Littles Bubblegum Layer Tee ($35) and Striped Pants ($30), and Jen has a chocolate/pink JJ Cole Pacifier Pod ($8) attached to her diaper bag.

Imgs0019023 DoodyBaby owner Jennifer tells us that Violet is wearing Shoo Shoos. Jennifer’s store is carrying them in all sizes for $23 , and is offering free shipping!

Beca_trademark400_1As for Jen’s diaper bag – it’s a Beca Bag, but unfortunately, the style has been discontinued. As Christie Beca and her bags have advertised and done giveaways  on CBB in the past, Sarah and Danielle have had the opportunity to use the "It" bag in green ($195) and it comes highly recommended. Beca Bags also have the added feature of being anti-bacterial!

Violet is a real sweetie with her chubby cheeks and sweet smile. She’s gonna drive guys crazy when she’s older.
Jen Garner looks so happy. She and Violet look great together.
What is that little sleeping bag like thing that Violet is sitting in in the trolley. It looks really practical for shopping during cold weather. Where can I find it?

Dang – that is one cute baby. I think this is the first time I have seen Violet without a hat on! She really looks just like Jen.

- TracieLee on

awwww Violet is so adorable. She looks alot like Jenn!

- Mary on

Violet is adorable. She looks soo much like Jen.

- Izzie25 on

She’s so cute, but I think she looks a lot like Ben!

There is nothing like grocery shopping with children! Hands down one of the hardest activities to do with kids (from infancy right on up). Violet is beautiful.

- melanie on

Violet is so cute, she looks just like her mommy.
Jennifer looks like a regular mom in the pictures, trying to balance everything.

- Aleksa on

I think she looks like Ben a lot too… she’s beautiful!

It looks like Violet is sitting in something similar to a KozyPal cart cover. They are awesome!! We use ours all the time for both high chairs in restaurants, as well as shopping carts. There’s loops to connect toys & a even a spot for my daughter’s sippy cup. It’s nice to see how normal & down to earth Jen appears to be.

I don’t know what the name of the thing she is using in the shopping cart, but I would HIGHLY recommend the Floppy Seat. It will fit any shopping cart (with excellent coverage), and it will also fit the high chairs and boosters in restaurants. I tried another kind for the shopping cart, but not all carts are the same size, so it didn’t work very well. It also didn’t work for the high chair. It is completely washable so when it gets dirty, just put it in the washer and then dryer…You won’t be disappointed!! You can find out more information at http://www.floppyseat.com. I bought mine at Babies-R-Us, and I just love it!

I think that is a floppy seat. It is used in grocery carts to protect the baby from the handles and the germs on them. I used one with both my kids.

- Kendra on

I’ve never seen that poor woman off the phone. I think she comes from the same school of “why do one thing when you can do eight” that I do.

- Chiara on

I like the diaper bag she is carrying. Can you tell me what it is and where I can buy one.

- cavy on

Beautiful mom and baby. But if I were Jen, I would put my phone on voice mail and let callers leave messages. No phone call is urgent enough to compromise the 100% attention a baby in a shopping cart needs for her own personal safety.

- Elaine on

she is sooooo beautiful!!!!!!

- tink1217 on

She looks like Ben but boy does she have her mom’s ears!

“There is nothing like grocery shopping with children”!

and imagine having people following you with a camera!! Eww

- corinne on

nadisalynn, that’s a Floppy Seat. You can check toysrus.com for the description (just put floppy seat in the search box and it’ll pop up). I would think variations of it are available elsewhere, too. My sis-in-law absolutely *swears* by it for my niece.

As for Violet, she is so utterly adorable!

- Jen on

I love how Jen’s hair is still wet. I’m always going to the store with wet hair b/c I don’t have time to blow dry it with two babies.

- Nik on

Oh I just realised that Jen was carrying Violet and everything else on her trip INTO the store.

It’d be interesting to see what they looked like at the END of their trip, with a cart-full of groceries plus (a probably fussy) Violet and her equipment! Now that’s being a mom! ;) :P

- Autumn on

I think that is a floppy seat but they also sell that same pattern in a Buggy Bagg which I like so much more. Here is the link, http://www.buggybaggs.com

- Melea on

What about her shoes? Anybody know what shoes those are??? Really cute and I don’t think they are Robeez.

- ronironi on

Cute pic! But it actually isn’t a floppy seat it a Buggy Bagg and they start around $59.95. I have one just like in the pic.

Violet is hands down one of my favorite celeb babies! She’s so cute — a perfect blend of her mother and father! I love seeing pics of her!!

- Zoey on

I also think she looks like Ben and Jen, I she has Ben’s brow (kinda like the frown thing) but her eyes are shaped like Jen’s.

- Melanie F. on

I agree Cavy…I love the diaper bag too! Does anyone know what brand it is??

- Michele on

The shoes are by a company called shoo shoos (www.shooshoosusa.com). They are just like Robeez, excpet wider. They look like little tennis shoes (ie. addidas). My loved them because both of my boys had really wide feet.

- andrea on

I am sure she is a hands on mom but if you notice she is shopping with her nanny. Makes it a little easier i’d imagine

- georgia's mom on

Walmart has a similar buggy cover to the one in the picture for $19.95. It is the one that I use for my daughter.

- Shan on

Aww, I’ve been in love with little Violet since day one, she’s such a beautiful baby! These are the first pictures where I’ve thought ‘Hey, she looks a lot like Ben!’. She was a mini-me of Jennifer when she was an infant but now I think she’s starting to look more like him.

- Sabina on

I found them in S (0-6), M (6-12) and L (12-18) over at 2littlefeet.com, who also carries many other Shoo Shoo styles. It’s a British site, but they offer free shipping to the US so with the exchange rate they come to ~$26…the same as a pair of Robeez. I got my daughter a pair of the dark pink trainers with light pink stripes & white laces.

- kimmyana on

I contacted http://www.shooshoosusa.com and they say the site will be live in a couple of days. They are sooooo cute!! I can’t wait.
