Aracely Arambula and Luís Miguel expecting

Mexican actress Aracely Arambula is expecting her first child with her partner, Latin superstar singer, Luís Miguel. Aracely poses for Hola and talks about the impending birth of her son in December, “It’s a boy, and his name will be Miguel.”

For those asking, no, the baby’s name will not be Miguel Miguel! CBB reader Jennie tells us Luis’ last name is Basteli – he just uses his middle name as his last for his stage name. However, Aracely tells Hola that the baby’s full name will be Miguel Gallego Arambula – her last name, not Luis’, so no worries there!

So his name will be Miguel Miguel? : P

Just wanted to let you know it’s not iHola it’s Hola magazine, in Spanish they put an upside down exclamation point in the beginning of the sentence.

Luís and Miguel are the father’s first & middle names, which he uses as a stage name…like Madonna. His last name is Gallegos.

Just a random correction of not much importance…I’m pretty sure the magazing is just called Hola not iHola.

In the spanish language they put upside down excalmation points and questions mark before the sentences that end in them too. Therefore the magazine is most likely just called Hola.

:)

I checked on wikipedia, and it says his real name is “Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri…so I assume the baby’s last name would be “Basteri”. Best of luck to the couple! :)

I adore Luis Miguel!

Miky (as a lot of people call him) is the “Mexican Sun”… I wish him the best, the same for Aracely… eventhough I am dying of jeaulous! hahaha.

I bought the magazine, and the pictures are gorgeous, Arambula wears wonderful dresses from Alberta Ferreti and Roberto Cavalli.

Luis Miguel already paid the hospital, at Cedars Sinai at LA.

The baby will be Miguel Gallego Arambula.

The magazine is called !Hola! (but the first exclamation mark should be upside down–there isn’t one on my keyboard). It’s the Spanish version of Hello! magazine in England. I read them both frequently.

She is pretty, and Luis Miguel is a great singer. Congrats to them and their soon to be son. What a nice christmas present, a new baby lol.

The baby is getting Luis’ lastname…in Spanish countries your lastname is two names…the baby’s lastname is Gallego Arambula…not just Arambula…you put the father’s lastname first then the mother’s lastname second…but here in America it appears that his lastname is the same as the mother’s because we only go by one lastname, our father’s lastname.

Miguel Miguel…¡What a knee slapper!

Gallego is not the baby’s middle name… In Mexico, you get both parent’s last names… The father’s first last name is GALLEGO, and the mothers’s is ARAMBULA… Gallego is the baby’s first last name… In Mexico it is not so common to have a middle name…

Luis Miguel’s full name:

Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri

LUIS – FIRST NAME
MIGUEL – MIDDLE NAME
GALLEGO – DAD’S LAST NAME
BASTERI – MOM’S LAST NAME

In the States, he’d be called Luis Miguel Gallego (exactly as his dad is called)… The baby will take his first two names, as well as his last name, and as is customary in Mexico, the mother’s surname will complete the name:
Luis Miguel Gallego Arambula

The baby’s name would be Miguel Gallegos Arambula. Americans are so ignorant, not everyone in the world follows “your” customs. In Spanish a person has two surnames, the first is your father’s and second your mother’s. In Portugal, Angola, and Brazil you also get two surnames, your mother’s and then your father’s. But since Luis Miguel and Aracely are Mexican they will name their child Miguel(First name/Spanish for of Mitchel)Gallegos Arambula (Surname).
