oh man and I thought pilot inspektor was bad….these poor kids!
Abby on
Actually, I think the name kinda fits him. He’s cute.
shaylee on
I love his long hair.

I agree with joy… I think the name Pilot (as in Pilot Inspektor) on its own could pass as a name, but Audio Science??? I said something similar to this before: I don’t want to sound too rude, but what was she thinking when she named him? I’d really like to know.
Aleah on
He’s a cute kid but I’m not too fond of the long hair… nor of the name.

These names are so ridiculous. I mean if Audio Science is a good name how about Chair Woodgrain, or Oven Crockpot….c’mon people.

Cute kid, I think that is the first time I’ve ever seen a picture of him. I really dislike the name though, poor thing.
Brynna on
Cute kid, feel bad for the name though, these people should know that their kids are gonna get picked on at school!

Audio Science? Can someone tell me what I am not getting? Is it an attention seeking mechanism?

Maybe he could be called Aud ? He’s an adorable boy and I think it’s kinda nice that she seems to be just into her thing with his hair and name and not worrying what others think. I think we find it odd because we associate so much meaning behind words instead of just how they sound. I mean what’s up with the name Mason or Hunter ? Why are people more tolerable of those names which don’t have a special meaning and could be perceived as odd in some circles ? My point is, that we all have our tastes and preferences and naming a child is very personal and based on taste and preference like with Gwyneth Paltrow’s choices of Apple and Moses. Only because she explained her reasons for those names are people perhaps more accepting and forgiving. And who wants to argue with the Bible anyway ?

After teaching a ton of children in the LA area, many of celebrity families, I can say that these names are not unusual and no one in their class cares as much as the rest of the world seems to. They will definitely grow up with others with unique names.

Not a fan of the name by any stretch of the imagination, but it might have something to do with the fact that she’s also a DJ and might have wanted to honor her love/involvement in music…just a thought.

i was pretty sure that audio science was actually a little girl.
not from the picture, but from what i heard elsewhere, which may explain the long hair and entirely feminine features.
His birth announcement in People at the time had him as a boy, and all other sources seem to as well…?

The name is ridiculous, but they are an adorable monther-son duo and you can tell from the photo how closely she looks after him. Very sweet.

The boy is cute, but come on Audio Science?!
alexasdf on
He’s a cutie. Not surprising because his mama’s pretty.
Tana on
Just wondering but who’s his father?
Mary on
Mmmm…okay, so the little celebrity kiddies might encounter less hostility for the weird names in LA but what will they do when they leave the fishbowl? I’m sure the list of celebrity-spawn 18 year-olds who have legally changed their names is very long!
LeLe on
well..They could always call him “Audi”…
And oh..To answer Tana…The father is Dallas Clayton..
