Heidi Klum out shopping with mother, Leni and Henry

Hklum102406_3Heidi Klum, headed out shopping with her two children, Leni, 2 and half and Henry, 13 months. Heidi’s mother and their nannies also joined them. Heidi is due in about a month.

Both strollers are Maclaren Techno XT Strollers in Crimson Red ($280).  CBB Fashion/Gear Correspondent Estelle tells us Leni wears Pediped Lauren shoes in White/Pink ($29).

Wow. Four adults are needed to care for the two kids??
The kids look cute as ever and Heidi is still looking great. Does she ever have a bad day?

Even if I was rich and could afford 2 nannies and I was 9 months pregnant, I think my mother and I could manage to push 2 strollers on our own….just seems like some celebrities really are a little too spoiled. She looks good though.

LOL at previous comments! That’s exactly what I was thinking.
Could they not have given the nanny a little time of? I would hate to be a celebrity nanny – always in the background pushing the strollers…

- Heavenly_Hibiscus on

Yeah. I agree about the nanny thing. And you would think Heidi’s mom would want time with her grandkids, not the nannies. Either way Heidi looks great and so do the kids!

I couldn’t agree more with all of you. I completely understand that looking after a two-year-old and a one-year old with a baby on the way is more than a handful, but it really bothers me how Heidi consistantly has not one, but TWO nannies with her on a regulart basis, even during walks with the children where a nanny is unnecessary. I understand that she’s wealthy and can afford it, but it comes across as completely tacky-looking. In these photos she’s not even pushing Henry’s stroller-the nanny is, and she’s just walking behind the kids and caretakers in the background! And why is the second nanny pushing an empty stroller when either Heidi or her mom could be pushing it while the other holds Leni’s hand?

If you look at that picture very closely. You’ll will see that is a male bodyguard not a nanny. I can literally count on my hands on how many times of seen two nannies helping with her kids. All the other times she’s just had that one nanny you see in the picture. Oh my goodness. Just because grandma is here doesn’t mean she should go home and not get paid because grandma is here. What about the nanny she might have her own family to provide for. And needs one or 12 nannies to help her take care her kids and for them to be with all of the time. Then so be it. It least she’s not leaving her kids home for the nanny to take of them while she out parting and hanging out. Like some celebrity moms i won’t name right now.

I was going to say, too, that the guy is a bodyguard. I don’t know too many parents who hire male nannies/mannies. You figure while Seal is out of the country and there are so many kids involved, they’d want a male presence while the women are out publicly. It does seem that they tend to go to the celebrity hangouts/restaurants where they know photographers and hangers-on will be there waiting to snap pictures. I feel like I see them everywhere!

I know most celebrities have nannies, especially when they work and stuff, and I think if you have the money, why not have some extra help, to give you a hand when you need it. But Heidi usually always has two nannies pictured, even with her and her mother around. My friend saw her on some night time talk show a few months ago, when she first announced her 3rd pregnancy. Anyway she said each child has their nanny, and she will hire a 3rd nanny for her 3rd child. It seems like a bit much IMO. There’s a few celebrities I love seeing on a regular basis like, Kate Hudson, Britney, Denise Richards,Jennifer Garner, and Brooke Shields, because most of the time you see them with their children carrying them and having one on one time. So I agree with all you guys, I’m pretty sure Heidi and her mom could handle two kids. At least one of them could push Henry’s stroller lol. On anther note, I think Heidi will have a girl this time. Since she likes traditional names, maybe she will name this baby if a girl, after her mom. I know Leni is after Heidi’s grandmother. And Henry is after Seal and Heidi’s dad.

Wow, it seems like some people are being really judgmental of Heidi. So what if she has nannies? I would say it’s a safe bet that all of the celebs mentioned in the above comment have help too. At least Heidi is honest about it. She probably doesn’t care what anyone else thinks and isn’t trying to hide or deny the fact that she has help; which is something I have noticed some celebs do. Besides, in my opinion, Heidi seems like a wonderful mother that spends a lot of quality time with her children.

As soon as someone figures out why four adults (including two nannies) are needed to care for two children during a walk, get back to me. In the meantime, I stand by my opinion that it is ridiculous and comes across as spoiled.
