Amanda Peet out shopping

Apeet101506_05_1Amanda Peet was spotted out shopping this week. Amanda and her husband, David Benioff’s first child is due in February. Earlier this month, CBB exclusively announced that the baby is to be a girl.

While on the Jay Leno show last night, Amanda confirmed our exclusive and said that her husband would like to name her "boy names like Charlie" and that she doesn’t.  She also said her director says she’s as "big as a house" and that her character on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is going to become pregnant as well, although she doesn’t know who the father will be!

Thanks to CBB reader Maya for the Leno recap.

Wow! She doesn’t really look pregnant right there. She is in awesome shape. Amanda is so cute.

Hi. I think its really great that you’ve decided not to show pictures of babies when their parents are obviously trying to cover them. How about not announcing the sex of celebrity babies unless their parents announce it themselves? Sources could always be lying and it is just condoning those people selling out information when its not their place. They shouldn’t be encouraged to be such horrible people. I know Amanda said she wanted to know the sex but she didn’t necessarily want the whole world to know. Maybe she thought she could trust the person that told you? I guess she may not care if everyone knows but I just think it would be a cool thing to do if you only announce the sex if the celebrities themselves actually announce it. I tried to put myself in their position and I would feel really violated (not that they wouldn’t be used to it) if someone took it upon themselves to announce to the world the sex of my baby. I’m not trying to slam you in any way because I love this site. It’s just a suggestion. Thanks.
