Talking about her new gig with CBS Evening News, anchorwoman (and managing editor) Katie Couric says the best thing about her new evening work shift is the free time she’ll have for her daughters.
"I’m going to take advantage of being home with my kids and fix them breakfast and walk them to school," Katie says. "They’re going to be my top priority."
Katie has two daughters, 15-year-old Elinor and 10-year-old Caroline, with her husband who died of colon cancer in 1998, Jay Monahan.
