Lionel Richie is used to people recognizing him for his musical success – but he says he is most proud to be recognized as Nicole‘s dad.
"It’s the hope of every parent, famous or not, to have your child upstage you. So I love it when a little girl in the airport screams, ‘That’s Nicole’s dad!’"

well. i read the headline with a snarky chuckle, but upon reading the actual quote… hehe, i did a 180 back to parenthood, and it just warmed me heart. awwww.
