The Oakland Athletics added two members to its family on Thursday, Sept. 7 as relief pitchers Kiko Calero and Scott Sauerbeck became new fathers.
Kiko and his wife, Carola, became first time parents to a baby boy. Both mother and son are doing well following complications during the pregnancy. If you have more information about little Calero, please email us.
It was a girl for Scott, as he and his wife, Carly, welcomed daughter Georgia to the world. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces.
This marks the third child for the couple who also have two sons, Jackson, 7, and Calvin, 4.
