Actress Mariska Hargitay, 42, who won her first Emmy, found it to be terrific. "When I named my son August, I had no idea that the month would end like this!" Mariska was looking beautiful and radiant and seems to have lost her baby weight. Son August was born on June 27th to her and husband Peter Hermann, 39.

I LOVED to see her looking so happy and healthy at the Emmys. No toothpick arms and unrealistic espectations for this new mom – after seeing too many too-thin too-fast moms in Hollywood, I say way to go Mariska!

I think she looked great at the Emmys too – I loved her hair. However, I disagree that she has lost all of the baby weight – her arms and waist definitely looked heavier but I found it really refreshing – a celebrity mom who didn’t lose all of her baby weight the day after she gave birth!
