Karma Baby Slings: Parenting in Style

08/28/2006 at 10:00 AM ET

Karma_baby_logo1We have been loving the huge movement towards baby wearing.  All the celebrities are wearing their babies now; Angelina Jolie, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Garner.  And there is a good reason:  Wearing your baby in a sling is one of the best things you can do to promote healthy bonding and attachment between you and your little one.  Did you know that babies that are worn cry less and are easier to soothe?

21We *love* these slings by Karma Baby.  Not only are they the most comfy and stylish, but they are so easy to use.  With no rings or straps, you just throw it over one shoulder and pop baby in.  What’s even better is that you can use it from early infancy through toddlerhood in five different positions. These are definitely the hot new item for moms.

Red_brocade_karma_baby1Karma Baby slings come in a variety of styles: reversible, organic, and stretch, and are made in fabulous fabrics from designers like Liz Claiborne and Waverly. Priced from $44-$64. Check them out at!

Featured in post: Mia Stretch ($43.95 + $3 for leg padding) and Padma Brocade (currently out of stock – email Stacey for more info).

These really are one of the best pouch slings. Stacy is great in terms of customer service and her fabrics are soooo wonderful.

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
