But before the belly was visible, I was uncomfortable when family friends touched without asking. Once the belly popped, I would offer my belly to anyone interested in feeling the baby hiccup!

I absolutely can’t stand Jessica Simpson, but I don’t think she’s completely crazy, and she’d have to be if this story were true. Asking to kiss the stomach is bad enough, but getting insulted because the answer was no? What would she expect? This story is ridiculous.

It’s Jessica Simpson!!! Come on! Who wouldn’t let her touch your belly? Who woulnd’t be thrilled by any decent famous person asking to touch your belly? And besides, touching someone’s belly is like your touching the baby. Like it or not.
Come on. It’s Jessica Simpson! And Britney has gone from entertainment diva to trailor trash. Why would Jessica want to touch that anyway?

Brit knows how Jess has been “gettin around” and doesn’t want a transdermal contraction of what she might be carrying! Plus Jess has mocked Brit before, I remember on Newlyweds when they were watching Brit’s Onyx Tour on TV she was talking crap.

I never had anyone ask/want to kiss my belly when I was pregnant. (I find it odd, but hey whatever floats Jessica’s boat!)

And people outside of family were pretty good not to just grab at me.

The only incident I had was when I was 5 or so months pregnant. I had gone to my chiropractor’s appointment. As soon as he walked in the door he said hello ‘Wow I can finally see that belly of yours!’ And proceeded to ‘grab’ my belly and rub it.

Nice guy don’t get me wrong, was just weirded out totally by that. I brought hubby with to my future appointments while I was pregnant and he never did it again LOL..

I think Us Weekly may have exaggerated an encounter Jessica and Britney may have had. Perhaps US Weekly is a little bored? Anyway, I remember when I was pregnant it would drive me crazy when random people would touch my belly.

I wonder what Jessica really did think of pregnant Britney? I mean Jess was married to Nick for almost 3 years, yet they didn’t have any kids (then their marriage ended), while Britney’s been married to K-Fed almost 2 years and will be having her second child on her second anniversary!?!

I have no idea if Jessica would’ve been jealous of Britney or feel sorry for her? Who knows?

(IMHO I think Nick and Jess could’ve been good parents too, at least as good or better than Britney & Kevin at times.)

Maybe this will change when I actually get pregnant, but if someone asked to kiss my belly (As long as I knew them), I would say, “BRING IT ON!” That would be sweet and I would be honored that someone would want to do that. Of course, this is coming from the person that wants to run up and rub the pregnant belly of anyone I see. I don’t, of course.
