Food Network's Jamie Deen welcomes a son

Paula_deen_2Brooke_deenThe Food Network’s Jamie Deen, 39, and his wife Brooke Terry Deen, 25, welcomed their first child on Monday in Savannah, GA. Jack Linton weighed in at 6 lbs, 9 oz and was 19.5 inches long and has "his mama’s lips and beautiful olive skin and his daddy’s big head…He smiled yesterday and has a face full of dimples like his dad. It might be a birth defect, but when he’s 16 years old it will work for him," says new dad Jamie. New grandma, fellow Food Network star Paula Deen, adds, "We are truly blessed…This baby is exquisite and perfect."

Jamie joked to People that instead of a silver spoon in his mouth, Jack was born with a spatula in his hand. Grandma’s even already buying kitchen toys for the baby. "I think mom already has a cook set, a little frying pan and mixing bowl for him…She’ll probably teach him to make cornbread first thing."

Congrats to them! I love Jamie Deen — I totally agree with Michie above — definate celebrity crush, although I think it’s just because he’s so like my husband (down to the dimples!)

That baby has got to be adorable!
