Singers Elvis Costello & Diana Krall expecting first child together

Update: We hear that it’s a boy!

Originally posted June 25th: Rock legend Elvis Costello & his Grammy-winning jazz chanteuse wife Diana Krall announced through their spokesperson that they are expecting their first child together. The baby is due in December, around the time the couple will celebrate their third wedding anniversary. Diana and Elvis (whose birth name is Declan McManus) met at the Grammys in 2002. Elvis, 51, has a 33-year old son, Matthew, from his first marriage. This is 41-year old Diana’s first child.

That’s excellent! I LOVE Diana’s music and have always enjoyed Elvis’ as well. When they first got together I thought it was kind of a funny match but now I think they are really a cool couple. They should make great parents!

I was so happy to hear of the impending arrival of a little prince or princess for King Elvis and his Queen! (I predicted it when they married!)I am a fan of them both,they are mega talents. I have never seen Elvis smile o much in pics! Diana seems to be good for him,and the baby will only add to the blessings. I wish them health and happiness.My prayers are with them.

This is going to be the coolest celebrity baby around, hands down. Diana and Elvis really do make an adorable couple – I went to an event last year where they both attended, and when they left, the room let out a collective ‘awwww’… All the best to them and their little bundle of joy.

On People Diana Crall is 6 months pregnant and expecting twins in December~ they also know the babies sex but are not sharing.
