Actor Kiefer Sutherland, 39, may be racing with time to capture terrorists in 24, but in real life he has felt time pressuring only once. "The biggest rush I’ve ever been in is when my [ex-] wife, Camelia, went into labor early while I was shooting [1988's] Young Guns, " says the actor. "I was on a horse, and they pulled me off, got me changed and flew me back to Los Angeles. I got there within 20 minutes of the baby [being born]. I still had blood caked on my ear from filming," he says. "So when I walked in, they thought I needed care."
Sutherland and ex-wife Camelia Kath, 51, have daughter Sarah Jude, 19.
