Anti-folk singer Kimya Dawson gives birth

Folk singer and member of the Moldy Peaches, Kimya Dawson, 33 gave birth to her first child, daughter Panda Delilah, on July 28th at 7:15 am. The baby weighed in at 8 lbs 9 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Father is Kimya’s husband, also a folk-singer – Angelo Spencer.

I prefer Panda to Erykah Badu’s choice of Puma–Panda is a little less fierce-sounding.
