Second child for Stella McCartney?

Mirror.co.uk is reporting that designer Stella McCartney, 34 is expecting her second child early next year. According to the magazine, Stella’s famous dad Paul McCartney said: "I’m absolutely thrilled. It’s great to have something to celebrate at last. Stella’s made up and we can’t wait for the birth. It will make next year very special." An alleged friend of Stella’s added: "She couldn’t wait to tell her dad. After everything he’s been through recently, she knew it would really cheer him up. She’s been talking to him a lot since his marriage broke down – they’ve grown closer than ever."

Stella and publisher husband Alasdhair Willis have a 17-month-old son Miller. Stella’s rep refused to comment on the news. My guess is that we’ll have to wait for an announcement – while pregnant with Miller, she confirmed the news once she was five months along.

Oh I hope it’s true, I adore Paul McCartney and a new baby would be great for him, and to the whole family. I’d like it to be a girl, as Paul just have grandsons: Miller (born in 2004 to Stella), Arthur (born in 1999 to Mary) and Elliot (born in 2002 to Mary). Well…we’ll see.

Yeah I agree, a baby girl would be perfect. Give one of each at least for Stella, and even someone for Paul’s young daughter Beatrice to play with eventually.

Well congratulations to the McCartney family! I too really hope it’s a girl this time as Paul only has 3 grandsons and maybe Stella’s might consider naming her Linda after her mother. That would be nice as a wonderful tribute. And what perfect timing-Mary’s 2nd son Elliot just celebrated his 4th birthday a couple of days ago!

Arthur was born on April 3 1999 and Elliot on August 1 2002 both to Mary and Miller on February 25 2005 to Stella.
