Kerry Katona wants to tie the knot fast

Singer Kerry Katona, 25 who just last week informed us of her third pregnancy, is already planning her wedding to the baby’s father, Mark Croft, 34. An alleged friend of Katona’s revealed: "Kerry is getting married in September. She’s not decided on the venue yet but is looking at a couple of nice hotels in Warrington. She says she wants to get married as soon as she can so that she doesn’t look huge in her wedding dress. And she wants to be Mrs Croft so she’ll have the same surname as their baby."

But Katona is still married to Brian McFadden, 26. She and the ex-spouses are in a custody battle over their two daughters, Molly, 5 and Lilly Sue, 3. McFadden is planning on moving back to Ireland from the US to convince the judge that their daughters are better off with him. He added in a recent interview: "Kerry spends her time out partying and leaves the kids with the nanny. She won’t give me proper access." McFadden is dating singer Delta Goodrem, 21, and wants more children with her as well.

But Kerry is focusing on her upcoming wedding and the arrival of a new baby and said: "I’m desperate for a brother for my two girls. That would be so exciting. If I do have another girl I’ll call her Maggie, and I’d like Jimmy if it’s a boy!"

That doesn’t make any sense. She reverted back to Katona as soon as they were separated, so she clearly didn’t care about having the same surname as Molly and Lily Sue McFadden. Why would she be in a hurry to have the same surname as the new baby when she didn’t care about that with her other two kids?

I feel sorry for these kids. Hasnt Kerry being engaged 3 times since Brian? Those never lasted, i dont think this one will.. hell, they got engaged after 5 weeks of dating. And, now theres another child in the mix. I hope for the baby’s sake it works out.

And, for the love of god.. be a girl. Jimmy reminds me of “old men”

She is a wreck, those girls would be much better off with him. I never thought that as a mother I would say that but it is so true.

My children are the most important thing in my life and I would do anything for them. Kerry seems to put herself first all the time and holidays frequently without them. She has even missed her youngest daughters 1st and 2nd birthdays, the first was when she was in “I’m a celebrity get me out of here” and the second was when she was filming “My fair Kerry”. What mother would miss her childrens birthdays?

I am feeling sorry for the new baby already!

The reason why she probably wants to be married before this next baby is born is probably because she doesn’t want her child to be a total/literal bast@rd.

Even if she acts like a trip now, etc. she probably was raised with the idea that having a child to someone you never married makes you total trash, so she doesn’t want to fall into that category herself. (Although imho, it’s already too late.)

We’ll have to see how it all works out eventually.

I ask all the previous and upcoming commentators to be nice with their comments. Always remember the golden rule: “Is what I’m about to say true, helpful and necessary?” If not, please do not post it.

I have met Kerry Katona, and her 2 daughters on a number of occassions. It is obvious to see that she adores her children, and they in return love her. Every mother makes mistakes, she was engaged to one man after Brian and then got with Mark Croft. Maybe she changed her name back to Katona so quickly because Brian had hurt her so much, and she didn’t want to keep his name. IMHO it is Brian who is out of order, making such publuic comments about such a private matter.
