Baby boy for British soap star Jane Danson

Coronation Street star Jane Danson has given birth to a baby boy, who is as yet unnamed. Jane plays the scheming Leanne Battersby on the popular British show and will now be taking maternity leave before returning to her role early next year.

Jane married husband Robert Beck, himself a former star of the now-axed rival soap Brookside, in December 2005 and the baby is the first child for both of them.
