Son for Chancellor Gordon Brown

Update: The baby’s name is James.

Originally posted July 17th: United Kingdom Chancellor Gordon Brown, 55 became a father for the third time when his wife Sarah gave birth to a baby boy on July 17th. No details on the name haven’t been released. Prime Minister Tony Blair also sent his congratulations from the G8 meeting in St. Petersburg, saying he was "delighted." The Brown’s first child, daughter Jennifer Jane, was born seven weeks premature on December 28th, 2001, weighing in at 2 lbs 4 oz, and passed away ten days later due to a brain hemorrhage. Their second child John is 2 1/2 years.

I’m glad they were able to have a healthy baby. Just a note, according to the BBC & Wikipedia, Jennifer was born on 28 December, not 21 December.

Unfortunately for me, I have met the man in question, and he is a horrible petty egomaniacal little man who delights in picking on people over extensive periods of time in the most horrible ways for such offenses as wasting his time or bringing him the wrong kind of cake with his tea.
