Are Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard the new Brangelina?

Are Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard the new Brangelina?  Not quite, but they are getting a taste of the paparazzi’s feeding frenzy for pregnant celebrities. 

Maggie, who is due in mid-October, told New York Magazine, "Now that I’m pregnant, the paparazzi run around like crazy.  And I never see them coming."  Her baby daddy, Peter, said, "I went to Bar Pitti recently before I realized it was one of those spots, and I thought ‘It’s a beautiful day!  I do not want to go inside, it’s not fair! Take my picture, I’m not doing anything interesting, I’m eating with my mom!’" 

Maggie added, "I understand if you’re Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.  We’re just not in any kind of situation like that.  Thank God."

I’ve always heard “baby-daddy” defined as a father who the mother did not marry, and with whom she is not currently involved.” So that wouldn’t really define Peter, as he and Maggie are engaged and presumably going to get married. It would be more like Sacha Gervasi, the father of Geri Halliwell’s kid.
