Moss's daughter attending Spanish lessons

By auditioning contributor Kaisa

According to the Daily Express, model Kate Moss, 32, has enrolled daughter Lila Grace, 3, for private Spanish lessons. Kate herself regrets giving up school due to modelling and wants Lila to have excellent education.

A friend of hers told the Daily Express: "She wants things to be different for Lila, and thinks Spanish is a really important language for her to learn. She wants Lila to be fluent in the language by the time she’s a teenager, and doesn’t think she’s too young to be starting lessons at three. It’s already going well, Lila’s picked up a few Spanish words."

Kate is not the only celebrity to make her child learn another language: singer Madonna‘s two children attend a French-speaking school in London, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have also been teaching daughter Apple Spanish.

Maybe she should save the money for, oh I dunno, drug rehab?

I’m amazed she’s allowed to keep her child.

Drug rehab ftw!

p.s – drug rehab for her IS helpful, and VERY necessary.

She has a child ffs.

That’s a smart move. The younger you start learning a language, the more easily you can learn other languages later… and actually, just learn.

How do you pronounce Lila? Is it ‘Ly-la’ or ‘Lee-la’?

- Smileyme on

I think it’s Ly-la. Really pretty name.

- Lorus on

Awesome! My son is almost 4 and is pretty much fluent in Spanish. I think it’s wonderful and I wish my parents would have exposed me to languages!

That’s great that she enrolled her daughter in spanish class. Being biligual is definately a plus. Now the next step Kate should take is enrolling herself in substance abuse rehab. If she wants her daughter to be her best, Kate needs to start being a role model.

Actually I saw Kate interviewed not long after Lila was born and she pronounced it like Lil-ah…kinda like Lilly but drop the E sound and add an A. 8)
