Atomic Kitten's Kerry Katona wants daughters to speak correctly

By auditioning contributor Kaisa

Former Atomic Kitten singer – and ex-wife of Brian McFaddenKerry Katona, 25, wants her daughters to grow up in luxury. Kerry and Brian have two daughters – Molly, 4, and Lilly, 3, and although Katona has been criticised for being a bad mother, she insists that her girls will have the best.

She told Britain’s Now magazine:  "I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth and I want my girls to have everything. I’ve even given them elocution lessons because I don’t want them talking like their mum. They go to a good school and have a lovely house and a settled routine. They’ve got a great life in Warrington now and, along with my fiancé Mark, we’re a normal family."

These are wonderful things for her to give the girls. A good education is priceless. Though my parents weren’t wealthy and didn’t have college educations, they managed to send each of us to excellent private schools and then to universities. We could never repay them for those sacrifices. I think we always want more for our children than we had for ourselves. :)

I think that’s great that Kerrie is using her wealth to give her daughters the start in life that she never had!!

At least with the elocution lessons they won’t end up with a scouse accent like mum!!

Wasn’t she voted “Britain’s Best Celebrity Mum” or something? I’m sure I recall reading she was “awarded” that title a couple of years running by some tabloid, basd on reader votes.

Not that it means anything – it’s just a bit odd in comparison to this post which says she has been criticised for being a bad mother. Not be everyone apparently!
