Oscar-winning-actress Mira Sorvino just gave birth to her second child, a son named Johnny Christopher King – and says she is the happiest she’s ever been. She and her husband Chris Backus have been married for two years and also have a daughter Mattea, 19-months.
According to Mira, Mattea is adjusting well to having a baby brother.
"She pets his head and gives him kisses. She seems to love Johnny. We’re lucky to have one of each sex so we get to have both experiences. They are really close in age, which we wanted, because we want them to be best friends… They are just so beautiful and joyful that you want to cry with happiness all the time. They have unconditional love for you and you have it back for them."
As for when she’ll return to acting, Mira said she doesn’t know.
"I have found it harder as Mattea has gotten older. I felt my heart strings being torn. I am very hesitant to go back to work."
