The McGraw-Hill daughters in NYC

This is a first for CBB. We have never had a photo of Faith Hill and Tim McGraw’s girls, because they are kept so shielded from the spotlight, but PEOPLE has a new photo of the three girls leaving a NYC hotel with their mom. Gracie is 9, Maggie is 7 and Audrey (Faith’s real first name) is 4.

Is it just me, or is the link not working? I don’t see the picture.

I think they are cute. I like the shoes that the younger 2 girls are wearing. They are called crocs. they are soo comfy. Anyways I think that they are cute even though I can’t really see their faces that well.

I saw the pics on People’s website a few hours ago, but earlier this morning the pics were not downloading for me either. I loved that they had the picture though, I had never seen all of them together.

- Lisa on

I just looked at the photo on People’s website a few minutes ago, and this was the link at the time:

For those who couldn’t find the picture, I hope that works!

- KF on

cute…I’ve never seen her kids. Wish we had better looks at their faces!

- joy on

I couldn’t see them either, but I figured they had to be there somewhere. When you go to the photos page on the People Magazine website there are a ton of galleries. The first one you see (it’s the biggest) has Jessica Simpson on it wearing the same outfit in both pictures. Once you’ve clicked into the gallery, the pics of Faith and the girls are 14. I’ve never seen all of the girls together. It’s so good to see her playing her best role (MOM!). I love Faith’s music. I love Tim’s music. And I’ve been waiting to see some quality pics of the whole family together. But hey, they are really good at keeping their home life private and that’s a good thing. I think maybe Britney needs to talk to Faith.

- Lisa on

Thanks for the link. http://www.brunopress.com has more and you can see their faces a little better. Just search under faith hill

i thought their kids would be much more beautiful. the older one is kind of chubby.

- sarah on

I think the kids are adorable! Chubby? Gracie is 9….getting close to that in between little girl/pre-teen phase. Can’t call her chubby.

I wish I were in NYC….seeing the Soul2Soul2 tour again!!!!

LOVE Tim and Faith!

- SuzyBee on

I don’t think comments like “I thought their kids would be much more beautiful” or remarks about the kids’ weight are really necessary. :)

- Hillary on

I don’t think it’s necessary to insult the weight of an nine year old child. Children go through stages where they weigh more before they grow, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Perhaps we wouldn’t have so many women with eating disorders if young girls weren’t insulted for not being stick-thin. And I’ve seen pictures of Gracie where you can see her face, and I think she’s adorable. Not being pencil-thin does not make a person ugly. Beauty comes in all sizes.

- AnnaRose on

Please remember to keep the comments nice and respectful.

Sorry that the photos didn’t work. People adds to their startracks throughout the day, so the link would have changed. Also, people has undergone changes on their site in the last couple of days, so that might have also been why they didn’t work. Sorry again.

In my comment before, I was NOT saying that Gracie was chubby in any way! I was upset that someone would say something about a 9 year old. The McGraw-Hill children are ADORABLE…but having those two for parents, would you expect anything less????

- SuzyBee on

you know people on this board complain about sean preston being too chubby for his age, yet when someone says a 9 year old is chubby, its different? its a double standard based on the celeb. grace is chubby.

- sarah on

suzybee: I wasn’t directing my comment towards you. I know that you weren’t insulting Gracie.
sarah: I have never seen anyone on this board insult Sean Preston for being chubby.
And it’s irrelevant whether Gracie is chubby or not, it doesn’t need to be pointed out. With comments like that being made about a young girls weight, it’s no wonder there is such a high rate of eating disorders in this country.

- AnnaRose on

CBB first pictures of the Hill-McGraw girls and the oldest is 9….I guess we shouldn’t hold our breath for Suri Cruise.

- Lizzie on

I don’t think this is the first time that CBB has shown pictures of the Mcgraw kids. I remember seeing pictures of them on here not too long ago (it was a picture of them eating ice cream). And I’ve seen baby pictures of all three girls, but if I’m not mistaken I don’t think CBB was around when they were babies.

- AnnaRose on

I was half kidding. I have seen a magazine photo shoot from years ago (I think pre-Audrey) of Faith and the girls. And the first line of the post is “This is a first for CBB.” so that’s where I got that idea.

- Lizzie on

annarose, children are more overweight now than they have ever been. i was not suggesting that gracie become anorexic…but at 9 years old, considering the weight of her younger sisters, she looks chubby and hopefully, will not be overweight in the future that it may cause health concerns. its proven overweight children likely become overweight adults.

- sarah on

annarose, besides, there are more children overweight than those with eating disorders. thats a fact.

- sarah on

sarah:
I don’t think that Gracie looks obese. Children naturally go through phases where they gain weight and then they grow. It’s perfectly normal. And even if a child is overweight, I think it’s a very bad idea to make negative comments about it, it’s much better to just try to feed them healthy food and keep them active and not make a big deal out of it. Both Faith and Tim have said in numerous articles that Gracie is involved in sports, and Faith has talked about trying to set a good example for the children by eating healthy. So I don’t think there’s any cause for concern. Gracie, IMO, certainly does not look obese. She looks like a normal 9 year old girl who just happens to not look like a twig.

- AnnaRose on

annarose, there is a difference b/w obesity and being overweight. note that i said overweight, not obesity.

- sarah on

I’m pretty sure it’s the first time that CBB has had pictures of the McGraw-Hill girls, or at the least we haven’t had any for a very long time (and in the time that i have been reading and writing for the blog). CBB is just over 2 years old so we weren’t around when they were little. There girls are very shielded from the spotlight and its so rare and nice to see them.

- Shannon CBB contributor on

sarah:
I realize that you said overweight and not obese. I never said that you said Gracie was obese. What I said was that I don’t think she looks obese, and my point in saying that was that I don’t think there is any cause for alarm unless a child is obese and it’s affecting their health. Just because a person isn’t as thin as their siblings doesn’t necessarily mean there’s cause for alarm. Different people have different body types, even people within the same family. I think she just looks like a normal 9 year old who is going through the transition from child to adolescent.

- AnnaRose on

I dont see it either!!! :’(

- Monique on

Oh my goodness people, are you perfect? Are you stick thin? Leave the poor 9 year old alone.

- DS on

their privacy and no pics being sold could be a cudos to their fans. i have several photos of the girls growing up that I took at their fan club party every year, however they alawys asked their fans to keep them private. so we do.

- Katie Ford on

comments like those arn’t neccisary and its why they don’t show pics of thir kids, remember how old they are and they go to school. they can easily come across someone saying they are chubby and not very beautiful. please post responsibly

- Katie Ford on

Sarah:
To put it straight to the point: no one is interested in hearing negative comments about ANYONE! Hopefully in your future posts, you’ll be more respectful.
I am 100% certain that you are not perfect, and therefore, opinions on others appearances should not be put on a nice, fun-to-browse-through site such as this.
