Angelina posed nude while pregnant with Shiloh!

As a celebration of her pregnancy with baby Shiloh, Angelina Jolie commissioned artist Don Bachardy to paint three portraits of her in various stages of the pregnancy. But the paintings are destined never to be seen by the public, with secrecy surrounding the entire subject with art curator Sue Hodson reveaing that Angelina "asked [Don] not to talk about or show the portraits. He’s a fine portrait artist, and Angie’s familiar with his work …  [Don] thinks she’s one of the most beautiful, elegant celebrities in the world — ever." Angelina sat for the portraits in Paris and Namibia, after hearing about legendary Don, who has painted Bette Davis, Jack Nicholson and Lord Olivier, through her father John Voight.

I’m sure the paintings are very beautiful. As a celeb though, it’s got to be a concern that they could “get out”. Even if the artist himself is trustworthy, which I’m sure he is, there would always be that worry in the back of my mind that someone could steal them or take photographs of the paintings.

I remember Demi Moore posing nude (or was it semi-nude?) for a photo shoot when she was pregnant with first daughter Rumer, and that was around 17 year ago… and she was heavily criticized for that by some people.

I’m sure Angelina’s paintings are beautifully done and not obscene or anything (Demi’s photo wasn’t obscene either, of course). Plus, Angelina has been seen nude in movie scenes before. I really can’t see why it should pose such a problem if people saw these paintings?

I’m sure the paintings look beautiful. I’m planning on having semi nude photographs taken when I’m pregnant next. I love the beauty of a pregnant woman.

I agree pink.lioness. I know my husband for one, would love to see Angelina Jolie naked or semi-naked. 8p

I’m just saying, the way she is with her privacy and all, she seems worried about them getting out. I’m sure she’s taken measures to ensure that they don’t, but when something like this exists, there are no guarantees that they couldn’t find there way into public view.

I think it is a nice idea to have a pinting instead of just pictures. With a painting you can skillfully leave out streachmarks (JK). I bet they are beautiful!
