Britney Spears and Sean Preston out and about in New York

Britney Spears and Sean Preston were spotted out and about in New York City yesterday – if the baby had not been with her, Britney may have been able to be a bit more incognito as she has dyed her black and added extensions! Britney Boards has all the photos here. Personally, I like her hair brunette, although more of the dark brown she had here rather than black.

Also, regarding the hair dye…You can go back and see what we said the first time Britney dyed her hair while pregnant, back in April 2005, or just check out this answer from Pregnancy.org – it says that since dye can be absorbed through the scalp, it may be best to hold off on coloring during the first trimester, but that it’s fine to resume during the second and third. Since Britney’s heading into her third trimester, she’s good to go, so no debates please!

I like it better when it is just darker brown, not black too. In the first pictures where her hair is down, my first thought was “Why doesn’t she put some shorts on Sean instead of just a diaper?”

When I first saw this pic here, I immediately thought of Angelina Jolie! I wouldn’t have recognised Britney in that particular photo. Is Britney maybe copying Angelina…? I’ve never seen her with such dark hair before. Doesn’t look bad, though! I really like her new look.

I recognized her when they first showed that shot of her on E! News last night. I wouldn’t mistake her for anyone else but who she is.

I just don’t like the black. If she’d gone brown or light brown, her natrual haircolor,I think she’d look much better with that than jet black.

Sean Preston sure is loving the whole diaper and no pants thing. I just hope he doesn’t spring a little leak or something worse, lol.

Anything but blonde is fine by me – I’d love for her to go back to her natural hair color or keep the black… I have never thought she was all that beautiful as a blonde. =\

Plus, I think she looks better with shoulder length hair.

I think I prefer her best with the light brown hair she had for awhile. The outfit looks great on her! I really like the sandals as well.

Who cares if he has pants on? The video TMZ has shows him go in with overalls on and came out with just a shirt. His diaper probably leaked on his overalls. When you’re a baby it’s the only time in your life you can go out with no pants. Live it up!

I may be in the minority here, but I dig the black hair. I think any darker hair looks great on Brit. Not sure what I would think of red though and the hair cut is very stylish.

As for no diaper covers on Sean, having a 9-month-old myself I have to say that putting shorts on (and then off for diaper changes) a baby is super annoying. That’s why my daughter mostly wears dresses, but Brit can’t do that with a boy. LoL.

I don’t care for the black hair. In the video, it looked so artificial. Personally, I prefer light brown. But she must like being blonde because she always goes back to it.

Sean must be a very good baby. I haven’t seen a single picture of him crying! He seems to take everything in stride! He seems like such a sweet boy.

I am just glad that Britney got rid of the Pammy Anderson look. It just looked too trashy. I do prefer her hair a light brown colour though. Sean looks to be such a peaceful, happy little chap. And those blobby cheeks are just waiting for me to wobble or pinch them…lol.

I’m growing tired of these debates on Britney posts.

LOL.I laughed when I saw the “Since Britney’s heading into her third trimester, she’s good to go, so no debates please!” Too true.I guess even the CBB staff are growing tired of the debates/Britney bashing etc. Which is wise, because we are all human.I am sure if they had not post it it would be “OMG she is a bad mother for dying her hair while she is pregs”.But since we are told the debate then goes to “OMG the colour…”

I root for the underdog.I am the one who befriends the people that others make fun of/tease/bash.I think the best medicine for this family is to leave them alone.And then people wonder why celebrities move to other countries to get just a little privacy.I’m not saying her actions have not been questionable, all I am saying is that we do not know, we are not there.So how can we comment especially in a negative way.She is a young mother.Some people are pros at it, some need help.Some just don’t even have a clue.I see it everyday at work.

I don’t see any debates on her hair? Just people giving their preferences – some agree, some don’t, but I don’t see them debating it.

Anyway, as far as debates/fights go… I’m tired of seeing them when it comes to Tom Cruise simply because it never seems to do with parenting. LOL Britney’s are always concerning issues that are relevant to this blog.

Does it get old? Certainly(and you know it’s old when I’M tired of it – I love “bashing” a celeb LOL) but I’d rather it be on topic than people making rude and nasty remarks about her religious preferences, child, etc.

Plus, we’re women – were expected to be catty and rip another woman’s eyes out. LMAO =P Kidding! =)

I couldn’t agree more, Erin. If we couldn’t state our opinions and occasionally “bash” a celeb, what would be the point of contributing to a blog like this? It would get boring and this blog is more respectful than others that are out there.

Celebrities’ lives have always been a diversion from the stresses of real life… what they’re wearing, who they marry, what they spend their money on, etc. It’s all in good fun and no one gets hurt!

I was thinking the same thing. SP seems like such a mellow agreeable baby, does not seem like all the activity around him phases him. I prefer her hair darker, but not such a harsh black color. In some pics it looks shiny, but in others it has an unhealthy dull look like she used coal to color it. But she has been looking a lot better than she was a few months back.

so CBB is for ocasionally bashing celebs?? Hmmm, I didn’t know that! When I joined I was under the impression this site was for appreciating celebs and their babes, not bashing them. I also did not know this site was for debates on parenting either. As always, I root for Brit. She looks great, the hair is a bit dark, but it looks fine to me. Sean always looks so cute and I don’t know how many times I went out and by the time I was done my kids were in a shirt and diaper! No big deal there!

Tink, I agree that “bashing” is a bit harsh and that’s not really what I was aiming for. I do NOT think it is appropriate to destroy a person’s integrity. What I meant is that it is natural for us to have differing opinions and it’s nice to be able to come here and talk about it. We may not agree with each other or we may not agree with something a celebrity says or does. But it’s OK, we’re just expressing opinions only. What I appreciate is that the majority of the people that come here are respectful. Other blogs out there are downright mean. I do think most of us come here because we enjoy motherhood and babies…I hope that makes sense.
