Melissa and Tammy Etheridge's twins are a boy and a girl

Tammy Lynn Michaels, an actress on the L Word and wife of Melissa Etheridge, recently posted on her blog in somewhat cryptic poetry that the twins they are expecting in the fall of this year are a boy and a girl. "Our son and daughter are coming home soon. All of us waiting waiting waiting to be together. Son and daughter squared for us," she writes, referring to Melissa’ older children, son Beckett and daughter Bailey Jean, from her relationship with Julie Cypher.
Tammy Lynn is apparently having difficulty finding large enough maternity clothes– "I outgrew medium in such a short time, smalls in half that, I’m told I’ll outgrow larges not too far down the line"– but she is more concerned about the health of her babies than her weight gain. "I just want them healthy and big when they join us on the outside of me." She also mentions that her belly button has popped and that she thinks it’s weird that she is getting a lot of free stuff (swag) in the mail.
I’m so excited and happy for them.
