Jolie-Pitts to return to Malibu this weekend

Bradange At the press conference on Wednesday, Angelina Jolie made reference to the fact that her family would only be in Namibia for "the next few days." She wasn’t kidding! TMZ reports that the family will be returning to Brad Pitt‘s house in Malibu by this weekend.

Apparently, the "Brangelina brood" as TMZ refers to them,  will be returning to a home that is still being completed.  Cleaning and construction crews have been in and out all week, preparing the home for children, setting up an elaborate security system, and re-tenting the tennis court area, which was previously used as an outdoor playroom for Maddox before the couple jetted to Europe for the remainder of the pregnancy.

The expansive house contains four bedrooms, with only two being used as such. The master bedroom and two others are for Angelina and Brad, used as sleeping quarters and two separate offices. TMZ reports that although the fourth bedroom contains baby furniture, Shiloh will be bunking with mom and dad for the next few months. Does that leave Maddox and Zahara to share a room?

Brad and Angelina plan to settle in at home before Brad must report to the Ocean’s 13 set in July. Angelina is currently in talks for a few roles, but has no projects planned.

That’s cool they’re flyng home this weekend. I wish them a safe journey.

That’s also interesting about the possible sleeping situations at their home, with having baby Shiloh sleep in her parents’ room and Maddox & Zahara possibly share a room. Very uncelebrity and very normal, but that’s cool. At the ages that the kids currently are, that’s a fine situation and solution to even a “cramped” mansion! lol!

I hope they don’t get hounded too badly when they arrive back in the US.

It’s hard to understand a mansion being cramped! lol

If they add to their brood, which I imagine they will, they may have to find a *bigger* place! :p

There’s nothing wrong with two such small kids to share a room for a while. And Shiloh should probably be sleeping in her parent’s room anyway for a while yet. Most people I know had their babies with them for at least six months, usually in a cot next to the parent’s bed, while the nursery stayed empty. I did the same – I found it so much more reassuring to have my baby right next to me, in his own little cot of course but still within reach ;-)

I do find it a little strange though that a high profile celebrity couple like Brad & Angie, with 3 children (and possibly a live-in nanny?) and the openly expressed desire for more kids, have only got four bedrooms? Completely normal for everybody else but if I had that sort of money available, I’d definitely want a bit more space for my family…

I’m confused…

Bedroom 1: Brad, Angelina, & Shiloh
Bedroom 2: Brad’s office
Bedroom 3: Angelina’s Office (article says 2 separate offices)
Bedroom 4: Room with baby furniture, for Shiloh.

So where does that leave Maddox and Zahara in a 4 bedroom house? I’m not against it sharing a bedroom at all. I shared as a child, and I think it made me closer with my big sister :) but WHAT bedroom are they sharing?

I think they are smart enough to figure it out and have the extra funds for it.

You’re right Jameroo, that is confusing now that I think about it too. Well I’m wondering now if the 4th bedroom with the “baby furnituere for Shiloh” is actually the bedroom that Maddox & Zahara are going to share, and the mole just confused some of the intent of the furniture.

I have no idea if Brad & Angelina would have all three kids share a room if they adopt or have another child in the next year or two, but I’d say they’d have to cross that bridge when they come to it. (By that tikme they’d probably just buy another house, knowing them.)

What doesn’t make sense it that they are currently renovating this home, so why invest all this money in it if they are just gonna have to move to accommodate more children? I know with their money it’s gonna be nothing to just up and move, but they have a family to think of now. It’s good to put down some roots for the stability of the children. Plus, and maybe this is just me, but if I was away traveling a lot, like the Jolie-Pitts, I would want to create a base & have somewhere that is home that I can always come back to.

We probably don’t have all the information. I’m sure they’ll figure it out and make it work for the kids. I really can’t imagine them putting all 3 of the children in one room.
