Postpartum: Gwen and Gavin out shopping

New mom, Gwen Stefani and daddy, Gavin Rossdale, went out furniture shopping yesterday on 06.06.06! Gwen looks great (but a little tired) and is still rocking her white hair and red lipstick as a gorgeous new mom. Baby Kingston James McGregor was born on May 26th.

Gwen looks pretty good for having just become a mother a week or so ago. Tht’s cool she has those clothes that can go from maternity wear to post-partum so easily.

Gwen is looking good and I love her fashion sense. But it seems like she’s sticking to the recent celeb trend of going out without the best accessory – her baby :(

Yeah, I am getting tired of this. Brand new babies and moms need to be together and this just makes me sad. Gwyneth, Brooke, Heidi, now Gwen. What is up?

I personally see nothing wrong with parents going out for a couple hours after their kid is a week or so old. At least with Gwen her kid was 1-2 weeks old. Better than being cooped up in a house with a screaming newborn day after day after day, ya know? =P That would drive a person crazy, esp. if it’s their first baby.

Every parent is different – some can’t pry themselves away from their child for months after it’s birth, others need/want to get away for a hour or so cause they feel overwhlemed, etc.

Nothing wrong with either situation, in my opinion.

My daughter wanted boobs constantly until she was 3 months old. I couldn’t imagine leaving her for even an hour during that time.
