Reese Witherspoon and Deacon at Starbucks

Dispelling last week’s pregnancy rumors, Reese Witherspoon and 2 1/2 year old son Deacon hit Starbucks in Brentwood for some pastries and coffee.

After jumping to the pictures posted on the other site, I noticed it said that Reese is walking around in her hometown. The article posts it as Brentwood, CA when, in fact, it’s Brentwood, TN. I know, because I used to live in Brentwood, TN. A lot of the stars (movie and country music – Nicole Kidman/Keith Urban, Tim McGraw/Faith Hill, etc.) live there and you can see them at the grocery store, the shops, etc. walking around like everyone else. There is a general feeling there that people respect their privacy and leave them alone. I’ve seen lots and lots of them just out and about…we never bothered them. I think it’s a “Southern hospitality” thing and a general sense of respect that causes everyone to just let them be. Of course, there are always the paps that follow them everywhere, but they are not usually locals. But, if those pictures were taken in her HOMETOWN, then it’s Brentwood, Tennessee not Brentwood, CA.

The pics were taken in Brentwood, CA, where the Phillippe’s live. I think that’s what they were referring to, not her childhood home. That’s my guess anyways!

Maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part, but how exactly do these photos or the fact that she was at a coffee shop dispel the pregnancy rumors?

Unless I missed some of the photos, I didn’t see a good enough shot of her belly area to make a judgment.

As for the trip to Starbucks – perhaps she’s drinking de-caf? Or maybe she’s drinking regular coffee? A little is still okay during pregnancy. Maybe she was enjoying her small daily allowance? 8)

I was referring to the last few photos if you scroll down at Just Jared, when she’s put down Deacon and her stomach looks almost completely flat, compared to the photos from the other day when she was on the beach. Nothing to do with coffee.

I don’t believe she’s pregnant anyway, I think we would have heard something from sources if such a big name was expecting again.

I agree, she doesn’t look pregnant…bummer!

I was really hoping she was expecting. Reese is one of my fave celeb moms! Oh well, maybe soon! 8)
