Pro fisher Becky McKinney expecting first child

Pro fisher Becky McKinney, 40, is expecting her first child, a boy, on July 28th – and has kept a full schedule on the Women’s Bassmaster Tour despite the challenges of being pregnant.  During her last tournament in Texas, she shared what it felt like to literally be on her feet on all day (in 90 degree weather).

"They were swelling like most pregnant women’s feet and legs swell, but I think it was twice as much as usual.  Standing up all day and standing on one foot to run the trolling motor made it even worse."

Becky said that she will be taking a break from competition until August 24th, that is, "as long as he comes early or on time." She and her partner Darryle Beatrice are planning to name their son Chance.
