Don Johnson welcomes fifth child

Update: The baby’s name is Deacon James.

Originally posted April 30th: Actor Don Johnson and his wife Kelley welcomed a son on Saturday morning, their seventh wedding anniversary. The baby, whose name is yet to be released, weighed in at 7 pounds and was very long – 27 1/2 21 1/2 inches, the AP corrects. He joins big siblings Atherton Grace, 6, and Jasper Breckinridge, 3, as well as Don’s older children from previous relationships – Dakota, 16, and Jesse, 23.

Wow! 27 1/2 inches?!?!? That’s a TALL baby…and at a weight of 7 pounds, the boy has got to be skinny too! Congrats to the family!

Ok, 27 1/2 inches HAS to be a typo. That is insanely long! I think if a baby that weighed only 7 lbs was that long it would look emaciated.

Yeah, 27.5 inches is definitely a typo. My son was that long at 6 months, lol.

Well, it’s not a typo on my end at least, that’s what the press release I got says too. We’ll have to see if they send out a correction by the end of the day – I bet they do!

There was a correction released – 21 1/2 inches, not 27 1/2!

No idea what went on with the layout, Danielle may have been messing with it.

Courtney, a 27.5 inch tall 2-yr-old would be considered extremely short, lol. That’s about the height for an average 7-month-old.
