When Rod Stewart played in a recent soccer match for charity, his two biggest fans were there to cheer him on: fiancee Penny Lancaster and their six-month-old son Alastair Wallace.
While Rod has six other children from previous relationships, Alastair is the couple’s first child, and Penny says Rod is a wonderful, doting dad.
"He’s amazing with Alastair. He changes nappies, and he’s always coming saying, ‘Where is he, I miss him?’."
As for their relationship, Penny says that being parents has made them feel even closer.
"Rod and I often lie there with Alastair between us, pinching each other, because we can’t believe our love has created this precious thing."
