Lyric is a cute baby, I just don’t care for the name, it sounds a bit girly to me.

It’s a name that can always be shortened to Ric if the little guy doesn’t like his name as he gets older. So I like it because it can be both unusual and not so unusual as best suits the child.

My 2-year-old daughter’s name is Ryan and her middle name is Avery–I like the mix of the strong first name and more girlie middle name. If she doesn’t like Ryan or finds it too “boy-ie” later on, then she can choose to go by Avery. :)

Or Lyric could go by the name that poor woman at Ashleys garage sale called Lyric, remember when she said “Oh is his name Larry?”

Also I guess names can go either way. Ashley and maybe Lyric sound like feminine names, while Ryan Avery sound somewhat masculine, but it does not say anything about their real character though, imho.

I like the name Lyric. It’s different. And the name Ryan is cute for a boy or a girl to me, just like the name Jordan is. Hell, I am already contemplating using those names for my own children, boy or girl.

But that’s not going to be for quite some time yet. lol

Anyway, that’s a cute photo of them together. Lyric is getting to be so big and seems to have reddish hair. :)

I really like this young couple and hope to see more of them.
